Travegram has been created to inform and inspire women to confidently travel solo.
Woman from all over the globe and from all walks of life are embracing their gypsy spirit. Letting themselves experience all that the world has to offer. Whether it’s sailing solo through the Greek Islands or camping out in the Sahara Desert, the female solo traveller has an insatiable thirst for people and places.
Travegram strives to meet that thirst by providing its Tribe with travel news, deals, destinations and experiences. All perfect for the female solo traveller.
The Travegram woman is…
An inquisitive individual, the Travegram woman is always learning, always hoping to grow and to share her knowledge and compassion. Her curiosity keeps her seeking information and inspiration.
Having experienced life, the Travegram woman is calmy confident. She can trust her gut (most of the time at least), and is confident to back herself in situations others may not.
Knowing that life has a way of working itself out, even in the toughest of circumstances, the Travegram woman is not lured by reckless abandonment but is more considered and acts with cautious courageousness.
With compassion and a genuine interest in people and places, the Travegram woman values community. Confident in being alone and in her own skin, the Travegram woman also knows the joy of sharing life with others and wants to contribute and connect.
Hi, I’m Kim!
Travegram was born out of the idea to truly embrace two huge passions of mine – travel and marketing.
I have spent my adult life working in the travel industry where I started as a travel consultant in the early 90’s and then moved into various marketing roles with leading travel brands including Air New Zealand, Virgin, Velocity and Flight Centre.
In 2015 I started What Matters Marketing, a marketing consultancy business, and in 2016 I dreamt up the idea of Travegram. It has taken until 2020 for me to see clearly that I can blend my two passions of marketing and travel to create a hub for women to come together to be informed, inspired, challenged and encouraged to take that trip and hopefully many more, as a solo traveller.
